Bulgariana Cabernet Sauvignon from the Thracian Valley is a dry, full-bodied wine revealing aromas of wild berries, anise and red plum with a hint of toast leading to a sleek, refreshing palate with rich black cherry, dark plum and mulberry framed by smooth, supple tannins. Serve it at room temperature with grilled burgers topped with caramelized onions, where the wine's robust character and peppery finish complement the charred, juicy beef, or pair it with moussaka as the wine's dark fruit and herbal flavors harmonize with the layered eggplant and spiced meat. Winemaker Edoardo Miroglio oversees production at Bulgariana, part of the Edoardo Miroglio Estate which has been instrumental in reviving Bulgaria's winemaking heritage in the Thracian Valley, a region with over 3,000 years of viticultural history dating back to the ancient Thracians. This wine earned recognition at the 2024 Sommeliers Choice Awards and can be enjoyed now or cellared through 2030.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: grilled burgers, meat pizza, lamb stew.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
