Reviews and Ratings

Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Mmmmm, what a yummy minty anise finish! The nose is so inviting, showing ripe & stewed red berry fruit, dark plums, chocolate leather, and baking spice (nutmeg & all spice). The palate is a bold repeat of flavours from those glorious aromas of cooked berry, vanilla and intense eucalyptus/mint notes. Acidity, tannins, body, alcohol integration and fruit concentration show a harmonious balance and complexity on the palate. Overall, this a fine expression of Brunello. Pair with braised beef, bison tenderloin... etc. Enjoy now to 2026. Tasted May 2016. @sommsosa @bespoketastings
This robust Italian red wine is made for the long haul, cellar now and enjoy later. Lots of racy acidity. - Community Wine Reviews
