Reviews and Ratings

From the Rhône wine region, Brotte Les Hauts De Barville 2017 is a Châteauneuf-Du-Pape Blanc produced from mostly Grenache Blanc (with Roussanne and Bourboulenc in support). Fresh and fragrant with lemony and citrus blossom aromas on the nose. Dry, full-bodied and smooth on the palate with white-fleshed stone fruit, pear, hazelnut and lemon curd flavours on the palate with a clean mineral finish. Brought up in stainless-steel tank. Great acidity for fish tacos, grilled halibut and shellfish dishes. Drinking beautifully now and for the next three years. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
