A smooth, robust Italian red wine that's a blend of three grapes (thus Tre on the label): Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon from the winery's three Tuscan estates. Aromas of black fruit and toasty oak. Pair with grilled meats.

Food pairings: meaty ravioli with rich tomato sauce, meat lover's pizza, vegetarian lasagna.

Reviews and Ratings

Wineboy rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Tasted without knowing the price - what a pleasant surprise!! Beautiful cassis and berry elements with a touch of underbrush. Flavours were a replay of the nose plus a spicy herb accent amongst all the blackberry fruit. A touch of warmth.
Brancaia Tre 2015 is a spicy red blend of 80% Sangiovese 10% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon from the Tuscany wine region. Look for ripe red cherry, smoked meat and dried herbs on this medium-bodied red and perennial crowd pleaser. Enjoy now. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
