Bouvet Excellence Crémant de Loire Rosé Brut from the Loire Valley is a vibrant, medium-bodied sparkling wine offering aromas of ripe red raspberry, fresh strawberry, and hints of white peach. It's dry with lively bubbles and refreshing acidity. This sparkling wine is made using Méthode Traditionnelle or the traditional method of the second fermentation in the bottle, just as they do in the Champagne region. Serve it well chilled with smoked salmon blinis as the wine's bright fruit and crisp effervescence will enhance the fish's delicate richness beautifully, or pair it with berry tarts where the wine's red fruit character and fresh finish will complement the dessert's sweetness perfectly. The Monmousseau family, who have guided the estate since 1933 under the direction of CEO Juliette Monmousseau alongside head of production Grégory Fournier and cellar master Vincent Herbreteau, craft this rosé from 100% Cabernet Franc with aging on the lees for nine to twenty-four months. Founded in 1851 by twenty-three-year-old Etienne Bouvet and his wife Célestine Ladubay, who purchased eight kilometers of underground galleries carved by Benedictine monks in the 11th century, the winery became France's largest producer of Méthode Traditionnelle wines by 1890. Enjoy now.

Crémant De Loire Brut Rosé Sparkling food pairings: smoked salmon blinis, berry tarts, prosciutto-wrapped melon.
