Bouchard Aîné & Fils' Chardonnay from Burgundy is a polished, medium-bodied white wine offering notes of green apple, white flowers, citrus and subtle vanilla. This dry wine displays bright acidity and elegant balance that make it ideal for pairing with a variety of dishes. Serve it chilled with roasted chicken with lemon and thyme as the wine's freshness complements the herbs, or pair it with shrimp risotto where the wine's creamy texture mirrors the dish's richness. Winemaker Gilles Flacher vinifies this Chardonnay in stainless steel before aging it in a combination of stainless steel and oak, preserving the fruit's purity while adding layers of complexity. Bouchard Aîné & Fils was founded in 1750 and is one of Burgundy's most historic négociant houses, sourcing fruit from quality vineyards across the region to produce accessible wines that showcase classic Burgundian character. This versatile Chardonnay represents excellent value and will drink beautifully through 2028.

Chardonnay food pairings: seafood chowder, seafood Alfredo, grilled chicken dishes.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
