Crafted by Maurice et Nicolas Boiron, this expressive Châteauneuf-du-Pape is a bold, spice-driven blend that showcases the rich tradition of the appellation. With up to 13 permitted grape varieties contributing to its complexity, Grenache leads the way, supported by Cinsault, Mourvèdre, and Syrah. Lesser-known reds like Terret Noir, Muscardin, and Counoise add further depth, while white grapes—such as Clairette Blanche, Bourboulenc, and Roussanne—are increasingly rare, as the preference leans toward the weight and intensity that red grapes provide. Lush and mouth-filling, this wine bursts with vibrant fruit and layered spice, making it a compelling choice for cellaring through 2040. Will pair nicely with roasted pork or even a pepper steak.
