Blue Label Tokaji Aszú from the Tokaj-Hegyalja region is an intensely aromatic five puttonyos dessert wine showcasing lifted aromas of mango, orchard fruit and mandarin zest with wildflower nectar and jasmine, beautifully balanced with peppery notes and a sweetly fresh finish. Serve it chilled with a rich duck liver pâté where the wine's vibrant fruit and syrupy sweetness complement the silky, savoury spread, or pair it with apricot galette as the wine's tropical character echoes the dessert while its lively acidity cuts through the buttery pastry. This exceptional wine earned an impressive recognition at the 2024 International Wine & Spirit Competition, confirming its place among Hungary's finest sweet wines. The Tokaj-Hegyalja region's unique volcanic soils and misty autumn mornings create the perfect conditions for noble rot to develop on Furmint and Hárslevelu grapes, a natural phenomenon that has made these wines legendary since the Renaissance, and this bottling can be cellared until 2030 as its complexity continues to evolve.

Tokaji Aszú food pairings: custard tarts, biscotti, fresh fruit cups.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
