Reviews and Ratings

From Langhorne Creek, South Australia Bleasdale, The Broad-Side 2015 is a 43% Shiraz, 37% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Malbec full-bodied red wine blend, aged nine months in new (10%) and seasoned French and American oak hogsheads and puncheons. On the nose it is showing ripe boysenberry, black currant and dark chocolate aromas. On the palate, it is dry and juicy with dark plum, black currant and spicy flavours with a dark chocolate finish. This vintage was awarded Gold at the 2016 Adelaide and Rutherglen Wine Shows. Great value and easy to enjoy now with slow-braised lamb shanks. The winery was established in 1850 by Frank Potts. - Community Wine Reviews

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
