Wow, this is a rich and toasty, oaky red wine blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Petite Sirah, 3% Merlot, with small amounts other varietals. Violet in the glass, Black Stallion 2015 has a leathery nose with ripe dark fruit and soft vanilla aromas. Full-bodied and dry, with juicy dark berries, dark cherries, vanilla and a whiff of menthol flavours on the palate. Aged 16 months in 80% French and 20% American oak barrels. This is a great vintage from the Napa Valley, California.

Black Stallion 2015 is a full-bodied, rich and toasty, oaky 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Petite Sirah, 3% Merlot and 6% Other varieties from a great vintage in the Napa Valley, California. Deep purple in the glass with fleshy dark berries, cherries, leather, soft vanilla and a touch of menthol flavours on the palate The final blend was aged 16 months in 35% new oak barrels (80% French and 20% American). Lovely now and for the next five years. Pair with gourmet burgers. - Community Wine Reviews
