Lavender, blueberry compote, and a wisp of graphite greet the nose, while the palate layers juicy plum, crushed raspberry, cocoa nib, and a twist of cracked pepper. Polished tannins and lively acidity give it poise beside a grilled steak or grilled lamb. Drink now or over the next several years.
