Another staggeringly great value from Chapoutier: the man has the Midas touch with wine. Full-bodied, layered and complex with aromas of black fruit and pepper. Yes the price is so low for this quality. Buy a case for summer parties. Pair with grilled meats.

Food pairings: cranberry braised partridge, grilled chicken breast with cranberry and red currant sauce.

Reviews and Ratings

From organic and biodynamic wine producer M. Chapoutier, Bila-Haut Les Vignes (2015) is a white wine blend of 60% Grenache Blanc, 20% Macabeu, 10% Marsanne and Vermentino. This 2015 white blend from the Cotes du Roussillon in the Midi was harvested in the first two weeks in September and matured in stainless steel tank. - Community Wine Reviews

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
