From Portugal's Beira Interior, Beyra Vinhos De Altitude 2019is fantastic value under $15. A dry, fresh and zesty blend of 50% Siria and 50% Fonte white wine grapes grown in high altitude, cooler climate vineyard sites. Surrounded by the Estrela, Marofa and Malcata mountains, the vineyards reach over 750 metres. Bright with fresh peach, soft tropical fruit, citrus zest, fine herb and white pepper flavours on the palate. Best in its youth, chill and pour with grilled fish and prawns.

Food pairings: grilled whitefish, fish tacos, pan-fried panfish.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
