Reviews and Ratings

Linda Mertes WSET 2 rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

From the south-west of France, this blend of Tannat and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, this full-bodied wine definitely needs several more years of aging or hours of decanting. Presentjng deep garnet in the glass, with red berry aromas. High tannins and an exra dry finish. Serve, eventually, with beef or lamb. Tasted February 2020.
From the Madiran wine region, Berthoumieu Charles De Batz 2014 Tannat is produced by C. & M. Bortolussi et Lionel Osmin & Cie. Full-bodied and dense with structured tannins, bold dark fruit, dark plum, cherry, cassis, wild herbs and tarry flavours on the palate. Powerful and needs time to age and mellow out. Give it another three years in cellar for this wine to start showing its best. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
