This is a gorgeous South African Chenin Blanc! There is nothing else like it, and as far as I'm concerned no one, does it better. Aromas of white peach, almonds and lemon-lanolin. The grapes are grown on 40-year-old bush vines. Almost full-bodied and brimming with character. Pair with roast chicken.

Chenin Blanc food pairings: roast chicken, crab cakes with lemon garlic aioli, fish tacos.

Remarkable Roast Chicken Wine

Reviews and Ratings

Bellingham's The Bernard Series 2016 Chenin Blanc is beautifully balanced with lush ripe pear, hay and pastry flavours on the palate and great acidity. Chenin Blanc wine grapes were sourced from several different vineyards in Durbanville, Darling, Stellenbosch and Swartland from old vines Chenin Blanc. Drink now and for the next three years. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
