A classic Chianti from the Ruffino sub-zone, full-bodied with ripe red cherry, earthy underbrush, savoury herbs, dark chocolate flavours on the palate. Tannins are dry and somewhat chewy. Pair with roasted lamb The Fattoria di Basciano winery is nestled in the centre of the Chianti Rufina region. Fattoria translates to farm from Italian.

Basciano 2016 is a well-priced Chianti Rufina with ripe dark cherry, berries and dark chocolate flavours on the palate with a lingering toasty oak spice finish. Great acidity for food. Pair with rich meaty dishes with tomato sauce. Fattoria di Basciano winery is in the Chianti Rufina region.
