Natalie's Score: 91/100

I've long been a fan of the wine's under Ricasoli's Castello di Brolio line. Even in the challenging vintage of 2011, this is so well made. Balanced, complex with a long finish. Dark fruit but more smoke, earth and leather. Pair with a juicy beef dish.

Chianti Classico food pairings: roast beef, cheesy pizza, stuffed roasted turkey, breaded veal cutlets.

Very impressive. Complex layers of dark fruit, dried fruit, savory notes with exceptional structure and balance. Highly recommended. Tasted November 2016. 94 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca

A most beautiful Chianti nose, with classic Chianti flavours (earth, cherry fruit) followed by a kiss of sweetness and oak. Best 2018 - 2020
This robust Italian red wine is designated a Gran Selezione and this Chianti Classico is made from Sangiovese grapes. - Community Wine Reviews
