Natalie's Score: 91/100

A dark and delicious Brunello Di Montalcino with dark black fruit compote, baking and toasty oak spice flavours long and mouth-watering on the palate. Tannins are firm and chewy. This Brunello is fermented in both steel and oak. About 80% of the total volume ages in 60- or 90-hectoliter botte made with French oak, and 20% is aged in new barrique. Decant for two hours and pour with a prime rib roast, or cellar up to 10 more years.

Brunello di Montalcino food pairings: rich tomato sauce and pasta, Margherita pizza, cheese pizza.

Banfi 2015 Brunello Di Montalcino 375 ml is the perfect size to enjoy on your own with a sumptuous meaty lasagne. Silky and polished with dark cherry, earthy violets and a kiss of licorice soft and velvety on the palate. Aged in French oak barrels, some new. Enjoy now and for the next 15 years. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
