Dark, brooding with some mint and charred black fruit. This Italian red wine is all about mouth-feel and texture, which is fabulous. Nose of dark fruit and some dark spice. Full-bodied and satin smooth.

Vino Nobile Di Montepulciano food pairings: minced sirloin tomato mozzarella cheese pizza, three-sausage and cheese pizza, bacon ham and minced pork pizza with pineapple and onion.

Reviews and Ratings

Firm tannins on this wine from a winery with 200 hectares or almost 500 acres in vineyards planted on the north-eastern slopes of the historical town of Montepulciano in southern Tuscany. Made from Sangiovese grapes. Finishes with garrigue and a balsamic note. Pair with game or cheeses. - Community Wine Review
