Atrevida Chardonnay from Mendoza is a crisp, medium-bodied white offering aromas of tart green apple, citrus zest, and hints of wet stone. It's bone dry with vibrant acidity and a clean finish. Serve it well chilled with grilled sea bass as the wine's bright minerality and refreshing character will enhance the fish's delicate sweetness beautifully, or pair it with roasted chicken and lemon where the wine's lively citrus notes will complement the savory herbs perfectly. New Zealand winemakers Duncan Killiner and Jason Mabbett, who met while working in Marlborough before relocating to Argentina, craft this wine alongside American sommelier Jeff Mausbach and renowned viticulturist Alejandro Sejanovich under the Manos Negras label, meaning "black hands" in Spanish—a reference to their hands-on philosophy from budbreak to bottling. This unoaked expression of Chardonnay showcases the purity of fruit from high-altitude vineyards in the Uco Valley where dramatic diurnal temperature swings preserve natural acidity and create precise, focused wines. Enjoy now.

Chardonnay food pairings: grilled sea bass, roasted chicken with lemon, crab cakes.
