Vintages Wine Panel: Made by Artazu’s brilliant winemaker, Juan Carlos Lopez de la Calle, this 100% old vine Garnacha (Grenache) is a perennial favourite of Parker’s Wine Advocate. The 2009 vintage has yet to be reviewed. Look for an elegant wine featuring raspberry, cherry and plum aromas and flavours, beautiful texture and a long finish. Age it 1-2 years or enjoy it tonight. My note: Savory, dark, full-bodied and mouth-watering. Loaded with black fruit and a wisp of toasty oak weaves its way through the fabric of this wine. I can smell hamburgers sizzling on the grill when I taste this wine. Hungry now!

Garnacha food pairings: osso bucco, hamburgers.

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
