Juicy purple plums and dark berries in the glass with a tasty, full-bodied weight. Great for barbecues.

Shiraz Merlot food pairings: grilled steaks, roast beef, zesty pasta dishes, hearty soups, gourmet burgers.

Reviews and Ratings

A medium-bodied wine with intense red colour. This Shiraz/Merlot (80%/20%)blend is generous and complex with aromas of black cherries and plums. Rich and dense, the complexity of the flavours plays out progressively, beginning with blackberry and plum and finishing with toasty cedar aromas.
Tannins are ripe, juicy and delicate.

The small fishing village of Arniston, with its unspoiled coastline, white dunes and turquoise waters, is situated at the most southerly point of the African continent. It is best known today for its 200 year-old fisherman’s village, Kassiesbaai. The village is a national monument and its whitewashed, thatched cottages have stolen the hearts of many artists and photographers.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
