A zesty northern Portuguese wine from the region of Vinho Verde made from a blend of native grapes. Lime and green apple acidity provide great refreshment and demand fresh seafood or shellfish. Medium-bodied. No oak. Serve well chilled.

Vinho Verde food pairings: grilled seafood steamed shellfish, green salads topped with fresh steamed shrimp, crab cakes.

Reviews and Ratings

Wineboy rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

This Vinho Verde offers lightness, freshness and citrus purity that lingers beyond the price. I can't give you a $20 tasting note for a $14 wine so I be succinct - buy a bottle of this Vinho Verde, chill deeply and revisit Vinho Verde again.
Excellent price point on this Arinto de Bucelas, Loureiro and Trajadura white wine grapes indigenous to the Vinho Verde wine region. Arca Nova 2016 is produced by Quinta das Arcas. Look for lime zest, crunch green apple on this medium-bodied, dry white with a gentle spritz. Pair with grilled shellfish. - Community Wine Reviews
