Antinori Pian Delle Vigne is a Brunello Di Montalcino from the Tuscany wine region. Concentrated and densely structured with ripe cherry, red plum, dark chocolate, earthy spice and tobacco leaf flavours. Would benefit from some time in cellar -- about three years. Better in 2021.

Brunello Di Montalcino food pairings: grilled steak, roast leg of lamb, hard cheese, veal piccata.

Reviews and Ratings

Antinori Pian Delle Vigne 2013 is a rich Brunello Di Montalcino from the Tuscany wine region. Look for tanned leather, cigar box and dried tobacco tertiary flavours on this full-bodied red produced from 100% Sangiovese wine grapes in between the layers of ripe black cherry, raspberry and plum fruit. Tannins are grippy and chewy. Great cellaring candidate. Better in 2020. - Community Wine Reviews
