Antiche Terre Venete 2020 Ripasso Valpolicella is a robust and concentrated red blend of Corvina Veronese, Corvinone and Rondinella grapes. The grapes were hand-harvested and fermented for 10 days at 25°C, after which the wine was filtered and stored in stainless steel tanks until the end of December/beginning of January, when there was a second fermentation for five days on the Amarone must. The blended wine was aged for 12 months in a variety of French oak barrels. Dark ruby red in the glass, this Veneto classic is intense and bright with dark cherry, chocolate, cedar brush and baking spice flavours rich and long on the palate. Tannins are rich and rounded. Enjoy with an equally rich pork roast or mature firm cheeses. Drink or hold.

Ripasso Valpolicella food pairings: grilled steaks, gourmet sausages, hamburgers, pasta with chorizo.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
