Made in the Ripasso method to add both freshness and fullness to the wine. Aromas of warm dark fruit, earthy florals and smoky on the nose and palate with a lingering smoky vanilla finish. A great pairing to dark chocolate.

Ripasso Valpolicella food pairings: grilled steaks, gourmet sausages, hamburgers, pasta with chorizo.

Reviews and Ratings

Antiche Terre Venete 2016 is a Ripasso Valpolicella from the Veneto wine region. Robust with concentrated, smoked meat, dark fruit and savoury herb flavours. Antiche Terre Venete translates as "ancient Venetian lands," which they are as the wine region is 3,000 years old. The winery is 100 years old. Enjoy with dark chocolate dishes like a beef mole, or traditional rich tomato sauce dishes like veal Parmesan. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
