Reviews and Ratings

Primitivo (which means ‘first to ripen’) was so named when a sharp-eyed 18th-century Puglian monk observed that the grapes matured before other red wine varieties. This example offers aromas of plums, cinnamon, black raspberry, and cherry. The palate is supple with a nice spicy complexity that builds upon the excellent replays. Very well made. Try this with your favourite grilled meats, or with aged hard cheeses. Source: (Vintages panel, Oct. 2012) Full-bodied & Smooth

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
