Named after a low-water river crossing on the family's Breede Valley farm, this Sauvignon Blanc keeps things fresh and unoaked. Green apple and lime zest lead, with a touch of white pepper adding spice. Crisp, lively acidity carries the texture through, built for warm-weather drinking. It's straightforward and refreshing without asking too much of you. Grilled shrimp or a simply dressed green salad would make an easy match. Sometimes a wine just wants to be poured on a hot day, and this one has no higher ambitions than that.

Sauvignon Blanc food pairings: herbed goat cheese stuffed chicken, grilled shrimp, green salad with creamy dressing.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
