Reviews and Ratings

Alex & Priya - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Priya: more my taste - Alex says I like Grenache so it must be so! I see myself with a book and a fireplace and a glass of this..ahh! 88 pts

Alex: A bomb of Grenache but retains freshness quite well. This is full of waxy cherry raspberry fruit, like a scented candle. There's some soy sauce as well, and more apparent on the palate which is lush with that basket of sweet Grenache berries, however there is some astringency on the finish. Quite long, juicy, creamy and inviting -makes me think of lying on a brand new sofa...87 pts

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
