Wow, this is a full-on Argentine red wine loaded with flavour and character! Aromas of fleshy blackberry, cassis and toasty oak. Gorgeous dark colour belies the concentration of this powerhouse that finishes long and satisfying. Superb value. It's big, but balanced and cries out for a brontosaurus burger, or another hearty meat dish.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: grilled sausages, juicy steaks, hard cheese.

Reviews and Ratings

This wine is made from grapes picked from the estate's highest altitude terroir, with a low yield of just one and half bottles per vine to encourage great concentration and depth of flavour. This wine is aged in French oak barrels for 12 months. Alta Vista's single-varietal wines are part of its Premium range. Every grape is planted in a custom selected vineyard site, with varying vineyard management, winemaking and cellaring approaches. - Community Wine Reviews
