Produced by Alta Vista, a medium-plus-bodied, juicy red blend made with mostly Malbec with 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Petit Verdot adding more structure and depth to the wine. Look for ripe black fruit, dark chocolate, baking spices and smoky vanilla flavours on this vibrant red made for the barbeque.

Food pairings: meat lovers pizza, gourmet hamburgers.

Reviews and Ratings

From the Albaneve Vineyard, Uco Valley, Mendoza. Alta Vista Atemporal 2015 is a rich, full-bodied red wine blend of 65% Malbec, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Petit Verdot from Campo los Andes. The vineyard is located 3200 feet above sea level in the foothills of the Cordillera de los Andes. All three varieties of grapes in the blend are hand harvested and vinified separately in concrete tanks then aged in French oak barrels for 12 months. Look for ripe red berry, blueberry, mulberry, green herb and savoury spice flavours on this toothsome red. Better in 2020 and eight years thereafter. Pair with a game roast. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
