Reviews and Ratings

Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

A good value red with dark colour. Ripe dark fruit nose, especially black cherry, followed by a little funk and volatility. Balance of acid, tannin, and body. Pleasing texture and lengthy finish with earthy and fruity notes. A good match for stews of beef or wild game.
From the Beira wine region, Almeida Garrett Entre Serras 2015 is fantastic value under $13. A medium-bodied red wine blend produced from Trincadeira, Aragonez (aka Tempranillo) and Tinta Barroca wine grapes planted at and altitude of 1400 to 1900 feet above sea level on the slopes of Serra da Estrela. Deep red in the glass, fresh on the nose with blackberry, black currant and baking spice aromas, dry and juicy on the palate with ripe blackberry, black cherry and baking spice flavours on the palate. Enjoy with grilled game sausages. - Community Wine Reviews

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
