From the Douro wine region, a full-bodied robust red wine blend of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz (Tempranillo) grapes aged in French oak barrels from a small family estate. The blends was matured in French oak barrel. Juicy with ripe dark fruit, vanilla, pepper spice and good acidity for BBQ meats.

Food pairings: meat pasta with rich tomato sauce, meat lover's pizza, feta cheese stuffed lamburgers.

Reviews and Ratings

Alice Vieira De Sousa 2017 is a full-bodied and toasty red wine blend of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz wine grape sourced from the small family estate. Savoury on the nose with ripe dark fruit, toasty oak, spice and vanilla aromas. Juicy with dark berry, ripe plum, smoky vanilla and spicy flavours balanced with vibrant acidity on the palate. Tannins are grippy. Pair with grilled meats, back ribs or a New York striploin steak. - Community Wine Reviews
