A robust, supple Portuguese red wine produced by a small family-owned estate. This savoury wine is a blend of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz (Tempranillo) grapes that was aged in French oak barrels. Aromas of dark fruit, toasty oak, spice and vanilla. Pair with meat lovers' pizza.

Food pairings: meat pasta with rich tomato sauce, meatlover's pizza, feta cheese stuffed lamburgers.

Reviews and Ratings

From the Douro wine region, Alice Vieira De Sousa Reserve 2014 is a red wine blend of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz (Tempranillo) from a small family estate. The blends was matured in French oak barrel. This wine has power and longevity, with good structure and acidity. Look for ripe plum and vanilla flavours on the palate. Pair with a game pie. - Community Wine Reviews
