Reviews and Ratings

Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Sweet and tangy, this would be a nice wine to enjoy with tangy BBQ fare. A good example of the value you get from Spain. Tasted August 2015. 87 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
The 2012 vintage of the Alceno Premium is made mostly from Syrah grapes with 15% Monastrell grapes. The vines are planted in stony, calcareous soils. The winemaker chooses from among 50 barrels to make the final blend which is matured in Frencha and American barriques for 6 months. Pair with herbed cheeses. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
