Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This wine is a real lady. Deep purple colour with aromas of her perfume, fresh flowers, berry lips, and leather stilettos. An elegant wine meant to be enjoyed over dinner with long conversations and laughter. A little tannin on the finish but this femme fatale can tame it with some grilled meats. Good acidity and points for price point.
Tasted: March 2015
This robust Italian red wine offers great value in the glass, especially at this price. Pair with hamburgers. - Community Wine Reviews
