Reviews and Ratings

From Twenty Mile Bench, Niagara Escarpment, 2027 Cellars, Wismer Vineyard 2019 Chardonnay is produced from grapes sourced from the Foxcroft Block. Grapes are 100% whole cluster pressed and wild-fermented. Malo and ageing was done in 100% French oak barrels (20% new). Lovely and lush with ripe pear, yellow apple, nutty, lemon zest, well-integrated oak spice and finishing zesty on a flinty mineral note. Beautiful now, but needs some time to develop in cellar. Try in 2023. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
