Rosés

1365 Church Street Vineyard & Winery Rose 2022, Nova Scotia, Canada: A vibrant and refreshing pink wine that captures summer in every sip. It opens with aromas of fresh strawberry, raspberry, and a touch of watermelon, lifted by a delicate floral note. It’s light to medium-bodied with a crisp, dry palate and 12% alcohol, offering a lively balance of fruit and acidity. Serve it well-chilled to let its brightness sparkle on the palate. Fascinating fact: The winery takes its name from its historic address, rooted in a century-old farmstead that has been lovingly restored into a boutique estate. This rosé is crafted in small lots to showcase both place and personality, making it as charming as it is delicious. Best enjoyed young for maximum freshness and vibrancy. You can order this wine directly from the winery at www1365churchstreet.com. Rose food pairings: a grilled shrimp skewer brushed with lemon and herbs, where the citrus and seafood echo the wine’s zesty lift. Or enjoy it with a Margherita pizza, its simple tomato and basil flavours harmonizing with the rosé’s juicy red fruit.. 750 mL $26.00 Score: 90/100. August 2025. Full Review Add to Shopping Cart

Red Wine

L.A. Cetto Petit Sirah 2022, Guadalupe Valley, Baja California, Mexico: From Baja’s sun-soaked Guadalupe Valley comes L.A. Cetto’s Old Vines Petite Sirah—a $15 marvel. Inky purple in the glass, it’s loaded with jammy blackberry and plum purée, streaked with smoky, savory meatiness and dried-herb whispers. Fresh acidity slices through the richness, making it a perfect partner for a loaded meat-lover’s pizza or grilled sausages. Petit Sirah food pairings: lamb cutlets, hamburgers, espresso and cocoa-rubbed flank steak, black bean soup, cheese.
