White Wine

Mac Forbes RS15 Riesling 2022, Strathbogie Ranges, Yarra Valley, Victoria, Australia: This elegant wine comes from a vineyard planted in 1982, fermented in a blend of concrete and seasoned oak, then matured in concrete for six months. It presents a pale, bright green-gold hue and offers subtle aromas of green apple, nashi pear, and pink grapefruit. The texture is smooth and chalky, with finely tuned acidity that perfectly complements its 15g/L residual sugar, making it incredibly balanced. A refined and harmonious wine, it has the potential to develop beautifully over the next decade. Ideal pairings include pad thai, a curry, or fresh Asian-inspired chicken salad. Riesling food pairings: Asian chicken salad, pad thai, curry. Drink: 2025 - 2032 42263 13% D 750 mL $48.95 Score: 94/100. February 2025. Top Rated White Wine Full Review Add to Shopping Cart

Red Wine

Redtail Hubbs Creek Vineyard Pinot Noir 2020, Prince Edward County, Ontario V.Q.A., Canada: This Pinot Noir from Kevin Panagapka of 2027 Cellars beautifully reflects its origin, with an alluring bouquet that’s both fragrant and balanced. Sourced from a small, family-run vineyard in Hillier, the grapes were wild-fermented and aged in French oak barrels for 18 months, imparting subtle, well-integrated spice to the ripe red fruit core. The wine showcases an energetic palate, with lightly textured tannins and a hint of volatility that adds character without detracting from its overall elegance. Pair this expressive wine with grilled salmon or roasted duck breast. Pinot Noir food pairings: roasted turkey, roasted chicken, grilled salmon with maple mustard sauce. Drink: 2025 - 2028 42667 13% XD 750 mL $27.00 Score: 90/100. February 2025. Top Rated Red Wine Full Review Add to Shopping Cart
