Red Wine

Tenuta Sette Ponti Oreno 2021, Tuscany I.G.T., Italy: From Tenuta Sette Ponti, Oreno 2021 is a big, medium-plus-bodied and muscular Tuscan red produced from organically-grown 50% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 10% Petit Verdot grapes. Rich, concentrated and vibrant with layers of ripe dark cherry, cassis, dark plum, fragrant with violets and pink rose petals. Tannins are ultra fine. Food pairings: hearty beef stew with fall vegetables, three sausage and bean cassoulet, Mediterranean spiced lamb. Drink: 2027 - 2035 735597 15% D 750 mL $99.95 Score: 99/100. November 2024. Top Rated Red Wine Full Review Add to Shopping Cart

White Wine

El Enemigo Chardonnay 2022, Mendoza, Argentina: Produced by Alejandro Vigil and Adrianna Catena, El Enemigo 2022 Chardonnay is dry, full-bodied and produced from grapes sourced from vines more than 20 years of age planted in calcareous soils at a high-altitude vineyard of about 1,400 metres in the Gualtallary wine region. Perfumed with ripe stone fruit, lemon zest and saline mineral notes fresh on the palate, the wine finishes with a kiss of toasty oak spice. Very good now, it will continue to evolve and mature in bottle. Grapes for this vintage were hand-harvested and vinified in 500-litre French oak barrels (35% new) with native yeasts at a controlled temperature of 18ÂșC for 40 days. The wine was then aged under a yeast cap for 12 months in the same barrels. Chardonnay food pairings: roast chicken, pork tenderloin, seafood chowder. Drink: 2024 - 2028 482984 14.3% XD 750 mL $29.95 Score: 92/100. November 2024. Top Rated White Wine Full Review Add to Shopping Cart
