Palacio del Burgo Crianza 2018, Rioja D.O.C.A., Spain: From the Rioja, Palacio del Burgo Crianza 2018 is amazing value under $15. Produced from mostly Tempranillo, this is a juicy medium-bodied red with dark plum, cedar brush, cinnamon and smoky toasty oak spice flavours. Tannins are fine-grained and structured. Decant one hour prior to pouring this lovely Crianza with grilled meats or aged cheeses. Crianza food pairings: venison stew, fricassee rabbit, roast duck, partridge.
