Versado Ancient Reserva Malbec 2014, Mendoza, Argentina: Owner and winemaking consultant Peter Gamble and chief winemaker Roberto de la Mota have created a blockbuster Argentine red for the 2014 vintage. Made from the iconic Malbec grape, this wine underwent a spontaneous fermentation, rather than one induced by the winemaker with specific yeasts. The wine was aged in oak barrels. This is another gorgeous red wine from Versado - this wine and winemaker perform consistently well every year. Aromas of fleshy black fruit, dried herbs, spices and pepper. Pair with grilled lamb. Versado Malbec 2017, Luján De Cuyo, Mendoza, Argentina: From world renown wine producers, Ann Sperling and Peter Gamble, Versado 2017 is a full-bodied and spicy Argentinean Malbec from the Luján De Cuyo, Mendoza wine region. The 2017 growing season was somewhat drier than 2016 and this fresh and savoury Malbec is showing concentrated flavours of dark plum compote, dark berry, earthy, anise and savoury on the palate.
