Château Clarke Baron Edmond de Rothschild 2015, Listrac-Médoc, Bordeaux A.C., France: A rich and intense red wine blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot from Listrac-Médoc in the Bordeaux wine region. Look for ripe raspberry, blackberry and toasty oak flavours long on the palate. Needs some time in cellar -- three years to start showing its best. The estate has belonged to the Edmond de Rothschild family since 1973. Food pairings: beef tenderloin, prime rib roast, stuffed saddle of rabbit. Mega Spileo Cuvée Iii White 2019, Achaia, Peloponnese, P.G.I., Greece: A zesty and fresh blend of local Malagousia and Assyrtiko wine grapes with some Chardonnay sourced from the Peloponnese P.G.I. wine region. Look for white florals, nectarine and fine herb flavours creamy on the palate. Grapes are vinified separately, fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks with three months on the fine lees.
