Red Wine

L.A. Cetto Petite Sirah 2017, Guadalupe Valley, Baja California, Mexico: A robust red at a great price point with ripe black plum, black currant, meat and cedar spice wrapped up in smoke. The Baja California winery was established in Mexico in 1975. The Petit Sirah (Durif) is a cross between Syrah and Peloursin. Durif gives the wine a deep, often opaque, ruby bordering on purple colour. Pair with BBQ ribs, burgers and chicken. Petite Sirah food pairings: lamb cutlets, hamburgers, espresso and cocoa-rubbed flank steak, black bean soup, cheese. Drink: 2020 - 2023 983742 14% XD 750 mL $13.95 Score: 86/100. June 2020. Best Value Red Wine Full Review Add to Shopping Cart

White Wine

William Fèvre Champs Royaux Chablis 2018, Burgundy A.C., France: From world renown Chablis wine producer, William Fèvre, a dry unoaked Chardonnay from northern Burgundy. The Kimmeridgian soils of northern Burgundy really do justice to the Chardonnay wine grape. Chalky, lightly herbal with lemon curd and briny mineral flavours on the palate. Chill and enjoy with fresh shellfish dishes. Chablis food pairings: oysters on the half-shell, mussels Portuguese, clam linguine. Drink: 2020 - 2023 461640 12.5% XD 750 mL $29.95 Score: 88/100. June 2020. Full Review Add to Shopping Cart
