Valérie Dufour rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A Barbaresco under 20$? Yes it is possible. If you are like me and are obsessed with Nebbiolo and other grapes and wines from Piemont, you will like this wine. This is nice to get a ready to drink Barbaresco (I would simply carafe it vigorously to get some O2 in it an hour before serving). This wine has red fruit aromas (cranberries), but also spices (star anis) and an earthy dimension. The first time I drank a high quality Barolo (Barbaresco and Barolo are like brother and sister to me), the sommelier conducting the tasting told us that Nebbiolo often smells a little like fog... Well, this is the kind of aroma I am talking about, a little earthy, a little wet. The acidity is vivacious and the tannins are firm. This is a very good quality/price wine. You have to eat with it, otherwise you will probably think it is a little austere. I would pair it with raviolis in tomato sauce.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
