Heather Wall rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Originally tried this Nova Scotia red wine on a family trip to PEI in 2015. I will admit here in writing that the label made me do it! I enjoyed it very much. Cut to 4 years later - my cousin brings a bottle from New Brunswick so it's time to taste and compare.

There's no indication of vintage anywhere on the bottle but purchased in March 2019. The wine is still a deep ruby red colour, imparted from the skins of four hybrid grapes - Castel, Lucie Kuhlmann, Marechal Foch and Leon Millot, all of which hold up to the Nova Scotia Maritime climate. This is a medium+ bodied red with aromas of red and black fruit (blackberry, blueberry, ripe plum and cherry), sliver of chocolate, some bramble and blackcurrant leaf.
The palate is soft with similarities to the aromas but cherry turns to sour cherry in the mouth. Acidity is balanced and tannins are practically polished. I enjoyed a long, velvet finish of sour cherry and chocolate. Perfect with Friday night burgers grilled to perfection.

Winemaker suggested pairings: roasted venison, prime rib roast, hearty Italian cuisine.

This wine has won many Atlantic Canada Awards in the past. Good value at $19.99 through the winery.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
