Greg Hughes rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

It is pretty exciting to see so many big name Californian wineries see the potential in newer, emerging areas. Woth this wine we see Duckhorn (the exciting Cali proprietors that gave us the Goldeneye Pinot and the reliable Decoy series) invest in neighbouring Washington State.
For those who have not tried Washington's promising wines (many grown in dramatically fluctuating temperatures in very interesting volcanic soils), it is time to get into them before the price shoots up.
This area has sen a ton of outside investment amd with good reason. They offer (now) stunning wines at bargain prices. Eventually, they will be just as expensive as their north and southern neighbours.
This wine has the ultraripe and fresh fruit of Yakima Valley wines (Yakima is slightly cooler than Columbia, making wines of great ripeness and freshness).
Wonderful colour. Shimmering and deep ruby/garnet.
The aromatics are pure varietal Cab Sauv. Currant, red plum, olive, and a touch of dried green herbs.
Flavourwise, who could ask for more? Rich plum, cirrant, cherry, licorice, and more herbs. Toasty finish. Yum.
Duckhorn picked the nougat centre of Yakima; Red Mountain. It is a tiny AVA that is a smidge hotter and has the best aspect of the area. So the wines are in a perfect position to ripen fully.
This would go great with aged steak, or failing that maybe some nice ribs.
