Stephen Andrews reviewed this wine as follows:

Tasted Dec. 16th 2017. Colour dark ruby red, legs medium. Aromas and flavours of, black fruit, black cherry, black currant, mocha, graphite, and a note of red pepper.
Taste, dry, fruity, mouthwatering, medium mouthfeel, soft tannins with complexity. Finishes with mouthwatering fruit and pencil lead mocha. I like this wine. Upon opening you get a full nose aroma, rich and complex. Then the taste is so easy to take. And a medium plus finish sends you to another taste. Great wine good price for value. Drinking now, so it is a wine you can drink young. Matches with all kinds of beef dishes.
We served it with Beef Ribs.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
