Matt Steeves rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Thomas Bachelder, the legendary Canadian flying winemaker, has crafted one of the finest Pinot Noirs that Canada has to offer in the Queylus Reserve du Domaine 2012. Medium ruby with an emerging garnet hue, the nose offers a beautiful bouquet of dark cherries, herbs, fine leather, spice box, Christmas-inspired pot pourri, and sweet pipe tobacco; I simply can't get enough of the beautiful aromas coming from the glass! Incredibly well balanced, the palate is elegantly textured with layers of refreshing fruit and sweet spice persisting on the finish. Domaine Queylus is one of Canada's outstanding wineries that you must try. Tasted April 2017. 93+ points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
