Greg Hughes rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

This Gamay Noir comes exclusovely from the Redfoot Vineyard, located in the Lincoln Lakeshore sub-appellation. It saw whole cluster fermentation in concrete (63%) and oak vessels (37%). This is not light and ephemeral Gamay, like Beaujolais Nouveau. This is more akin to modern cru Beaujolais or serious Loire reds in that it is aromatic, concentrated and ageworthy.
The colour is reddish/purple - glass staining.
The aromas are very floral, with lots of violet and pot-pourri. It has a lot of funky earthiness that contrasts its fresh fruit.
Explosive entry that takes you aback, with refreshing acids and a superfine mineral texture. Lipsmacking.
Fresh cherry, field strawberry, apple skin, persimmon, tomato, tobacco, and old leather.
This wine is so charming and aromatic.
Pearl Morissette do a lot of experimentation, but their fundamentals for high end production always deliver. This was very well made.
This wine was quickly devoured alongside a charcuterie platter with pecorino, Canadian duck prosciutto, and cashews.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
